Los Angeles International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world with nine terminal buildings. It is on the southern coast of California, 15 miles southwest of Los Angeles. Los Angeles International Airport provides modern facilities with excellent land, sea and air links.
A different group of airline companies operate from each terminal building. A number of terminals serve mainly domestic American airlines while terminals 2 and 5 supply mostly non-American airline companies. The Tom Bradley International Terminal, terminal 9, provides the long haul international flights.
Facilities provided include an ATM at each terminal on both arrivals and departures halls, bureaux de change in the departures halls of all terminals, and in the arrivals halls of the TBI (Tom Bradley International) terminal as well as terminals 2, 5 and 7, numerous shops including duty-free shopping, bookshops, clothes outlets and sunglasses shops. There are cafes, bars, restaurants and snack shops throughout the airport.
Facilities for the disabled include TDD telephones located in Terminals 1-8, designated parking areas close to lifts and free parking in the metered parking area if you have a special needs disc.
